This one was inspired by the lovely Philippa Rice over at “My Cardboard Life” who made a random challenge on her Twitter feed yesterday to “make a reference to Jumanji every day this week”. This SO counts as my reference for today.
Anyway, “My Cardboard Life” as an awesome little cute strip and you should all take a look. Any of you who come and see me in March at the “Uk Web & Mini Comics Thing 2010″ will also be pleased to know that she’s going to be on the next table so pay her a visit too.

Perhaps Jumanji was a registered trademark, and the makers of Jamanji thought that changing one letter would be sufficient to keep Jumanji, Inc.’s lawyers, lions, bears, mosquitoes, etc. away.

Mistake corrected
It’s Jumanji not Jamanji. This is why doing comics at 1am after rehearsal is a bad idea.
I once went to a safari park where Meningitis jabs weren’t required. This turned out to be because most of the animals were far away, or harder to spot than that day when [Where's] Wally* decided not to wear his stripy jumper and get contact lenses.
*American know him as Where’s Waldo. You strange people.
I always thought Jumanji was better than Zathura.
Now excuse me, I think I hear rhythmic drumming coming from the closet…
